Wireless Interlinked Remote controller
The wireless interlinked remote controller is a supplementary device that can work with the wireless interlinked smoke alarms, interlinked carbon monoxide detectors, wireless interlinked heat alarms, and so on. The main function of the remote controller is to “Test” and “Silence” the interlinked wireless detectors.
According to the regulation, the detectors should be tested every week to make sure the detectors are still working properly.
By installing the remote controller on the wall, you can easily test the smoke alarm by simply one pressing the “TEST” button on the remote controller. You don’t have to take a swabber or rod or sticker to press the detectors on the ceiling.
The wireless remote controller is powered by a DC12V small Alkaline battery and is cable-free. the battery life is about 2-3 years. There is a backup bracket for easily be installed in the wall.
Ad there is the “Hush” button on the remote controller. When there is a false alarm, or you have solved the fire situation, you can easily press the “HUSH” button to make the detector silent.
The silence function is available only when the detector is triggered, rather than being tested. Do not press the “Hush” button when you are just testing the detectors. The detectors will be silenced after the testing, which takes about 8-15 seconds.
When one of the detectors is triggered, all the detectors in the group will sound at the same time. Pressing the “Hush” button, all the detectors will keep silent, except the detector that detected the real fire. So that you can easily know which floor or which area is one fire.
This wireless remote controller is just an optional device. You can test the detectors by press the testing button on the detectors as well.

A: The remote controller is just optional, You can decide to have it or not.
3: Why my remote controller cannot stop the smoke alarms from beeping?
A: Have you paired the Smoke alarms with the remote? Follow the video to pair with the smoke alarms firstly.
If you failed to pair, pls clear that data of the remote controller firstly and then pair again.
The hush function only works when the smoke alarms ios triggering, rather than testing. Hereby, when you are testing the smoke alarms, it cannot hush. We can just wait until the testing process is finished (about 10 seconds).
After smoke alarms are triggered, All the smoke alarms will be sound. And at this time, press the hush function, all the detectors will be silent, except the smoke alarm which detects the real smoke. So you know which room is on fire.
