An ANKA Natural Gas Sensor Alarm is a safety device that detects dangerous gas levels and shows the concentration on an LCD screen.

Key Features

LCD Display: Shows the real-time gas concentration value.
Alarm Trigger: Activates when gas reaches 10% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) or higher.
Interconnection: Connects to other ANKA fire alarms for whole-home safety.

Functional Overview of a Demonstration

Initialization: Upon receiving power, the sensor establishes a baseline reading, typically displaying 0% concentration on the LCD screen under normal atmospheric conditions.
Detection Phase: When exposed to a compatible combustible gas, the sensor measures the presence of the substance, causing the real-time numerical value on the LCD display to increase.
Threshold Response: Once the detected concentration reaches or exceeds the pre-set safety threshold of 10% LEL, the device initiates its internal audible and visual alerts.
System Interconnection: If networked with compatible fire safety alarms, the triggering device transmits a signal to activate the secondary alerts throughout the connected system.
Resetting: When the concentration of the gas dissipates below the threshold level, the sensor automatically resets, and the active alarms cease.
