Clean the Sensor: Dust, cobwebs, or small insects may enter the sensing chamber, thereby triggering a false alarm. Please use a vacuum cleaner attachment or a can of compressed air to clean the device.
Reset the Device: First, shut off the power at the circuit breaker; then, remove the alarm unit, unplug the power connector, take out the battery, and press and hold the test button for 15 to 30 seconds to completely discharge any residual power remaining within the device.
