Connection Method and Principle
- Wired connection for signal transmission: The main wiring smoke alarm generally connects the various detectors through wires. When one of the smoke detectors detects smoke reaching the alarm threshold,it will send an electrical signal to the other smoke detectors through the connected line. This signal transmission can trigger smoke alarms in the entire connected system to emit alarm sounds simultaneously,thereby achieving the function of interconnection and collaborative work.
- Association with control host: In some complex systems,the main wiring smoke alarm may also be connected to the fire alarm control host. The main wiring transmits the signals of each smoke alarm to the host,which can monitor and manage the status of each alarm. When a smoke alarm is triggered,the host can not only receive the signal,but may also send control signals to other related devices (such as fire broadcasting,sprinkler systems,etc.) through the main wiring,while also ensuring linkage alarm between connected smoke alarms.
